Little Rhody House Cleaning was founded by Allison Swallow, who has almost two decades of experience in the professional house cleaning industry.  

Allison was raised within the cleaning industry, as her mother previously owned and operated the largest independently owned cleaning company in Rhode Island.  Growing up, Allison would help her mother clean houses on the weekends and over the summer to earn spending money. This sparked a passion for cleaning and entrepreneurship in general.  While pursuing a college degree, Allison continued to work for the family business. First as a professional house cleaner, then quality-control manager, and eventually she became a full-time office manager of the company.  This gave Allison a first hand look into the cleaning industry and what is needed to be successful.  

Shortly after finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Allison opened Cheer UP Athletics. Cheer UP Athletics is now the second longest running cheerleading program operating in Rhode Island.  Cheer UP Athletics has had many successes due to the passion and commitment Allison put into the program before selling her share of the business in 2021.
